"This monitor is most definitely larger than most other "17 inch" monitors out there, giving you a full 17" view, the price is pretty good, and falling. Also, looks a bit better than the other monitors out there.
The only thing that stinks about it is the speakers. But then again, anyone who is even semi-serious about computing and/or sound quality wouldn't expect a 17 inch monitor to have awesome speakers built in.... That's just silly."

"Great monitor. For me it looks like the viewable area of the monitor larger than the other 17 inch flat monitors. The only drwback I can see is the sound quality."

"The setup & display are nice, however the speaker sound is of poor quality. Just testing some of the pre-loaded music at a medium to low volume you get that fuzzy back noise, even after adjusting the equalizer there was no noticeable difference. Looks like I'll be buying speakers."
