"Perfect machine, I use it for virtualisation and performance is excellent. It's coming up on 2 years old and has yet to miss a beat. I have ran W2k8, W7, Vista and W2K3 I had a issue with W2K3 in that, the RAID set kept on corrupting, it was simply fixed by going back to an earlier version of storage drivers from Intel. Never had the issue with any of the other OS's listed above. I would recommend the Z800 as an alternative to having a noisy server sitting on your desktop."
"Absolutely PERFECT ROLLS ROYCE of workstations for CAD & rendering models. Read SW benchmarks - even lower duals can't take on this maths genuis. DEFINATELY going to drop in another W5590 dream processor to have the ultimate dream CAD machine with years of expandability to come. THANKS HP"

"I tend to purchase HP generally but this is a good machine which makes you feel that you can trust it. I had little trouble getting it up and running and it has taken over the tasks of my old HP with ease."
"Had two of these for six months. They DO support RAID5. If you want to fit all four disks in the internal cage you need the option fan. The original Intel/HP disk driver had a serious fault, now fixed, but use the Intel version. One unit is very quiet, the other has a low frequency audio beat, probably caused by one of the many fans. I keep trying to buy a new fan but they are never available. They work much better if you fit a SSD in the front bay and boot from it. I use the Intel X25M, very good. No problems with Windows 7, 64bit Enterprise. Also, no problems with NVIDIA graphics."
